Port Restrictions
- GENERAL
- Are there any restrictions on vessels whose previous port call was from COVID -19 high risk countries?*
- Vessel will only be quarantined at anchorage for 14 days if master reports any illness on board and the health authorities will check for suspected cases.
- All trade vessels calling local ports will be requested to submit the list of previous 10 port calls as well as crew list specifying each sign-on date.
- All trade vessels will go through temperature checks and screening by port health.

Flight Restrictions
- Passengers must complete a Port Health Declaration Form at https://www.ghs-hdf.org/ before departure.
- Passengers entering or transiting through Ghana
- must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 48 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; and
- are subject to a COVID-19 test upon arrival.
- This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm (BIBP), Sinovac and Sputnik V.
- This does not apply to passengers younger than 18 years.
- Passengers are subject to medical screening upon arrival.
