Please note below new procedures/restrictions for intended crew change request to guide in your planning due to covid-19 pandemic at Tema port.
For Onsigners
On/Offsigners copy passports/seamen books and preliminary flight details required to process.
Processing of visa also takes 4-5 clear working days to issue VOA and send copy to aid their travel.
All international passengers including those from the ECOWAS region, intending to fly to Ghana, will be required to be fully vaccinated and copy of certificates should be sent to us as proof to obtain approval before embarking of vessel.
Nearest airport is Kotoka International Airport (ACC) about 45hrs drive to Tema seaport with minimum 2-3hrs after completion of both airport/port formalities prior embarking of vessel..
Launch boat is also available to effect crew change at the anchorage should vessel berthing delays at cost of usd650 within 3NM.
Crew change for both onsigners embarkation and offsigners disembarkation can be arranged 24/7 without any time restrictions.
For Offsigners
They are required to be fully vaccinated and copy of certificates should be sent to us as proof to obtain approval before disembarking from vessel.
Covid 19 PCR test will be arranged...

Passengers must complete a Port Health Declaration Form at https://www.ghs-hdf.org/ before departure.
Passengers entering or transiting through Ghana

must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 48 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; and
are subject to a COVID-19 test upon arrival.

This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm (BIBP), Sinovac and Sputnik V.
This does not apply to passengers younger than 18 years.
