The calculator above works for a single port call with clean data. For real voyages, the calculation has to handle:

Does this calculator handle multiple ports?
Not this free version. For multi-port laytime with reversible terms, upload your SoF to Proteus for the full calculation.
Can the calculator apply charter party deductions?
Not this free version. It assumes a clean single-port calculation. For weather-delay exclusions, proration, shifting rules, and CP rider clause logic, use Proteus.
How accurate is the calculation?
The math is exact for the inputs you provide. What you need to get right is the inputs — which is where Proteus helps, by extracting them from the actual SoF.
Do I need to sign up to use the calculator?
No. The calculation runs in your browser. Email is only required if you want a PDF export (coming soon) or if you move on to Proteus for the full SoF-driven calculation.
How is Proteus different?
Proteus extracts the events from your actual Statement of Facts documents, so you don't have to type them in. It then runs the full calculation with charter party rules applied. This calculator is the quick-estimate version; Proteus is the real-voyage version.
Is my data confidential?
Your documents stay in your tenant. Proteus doesn’t train on your data. Charter parties and Statements of Facts are never shared across customers.
