Port Restrictions
- Crew Change Requirements
- As of June 12, 2022, all air passengers, regardless of citizenship or vaccination status, are no longer required to show a negative viral COVID-19 test result, or documentation of recovery from COVID-19, before boarding a flight to the United States.
- On signers must hold valid C1/D visa.
- Offsigners must be in possession of valid unexpired C1/D Visa, there is possibility to request parole, but no guarantee approval.
- Offsigners must be PCR tested prior to departure with a negative test result. Positive test cases and exposed crew are required to be placed back onboard per CBP.
- Offsigners must fly out of US direct foreign from IAH and prior vessel's departure.
- Due to Chinese government requirement of 48 hour testing in the US, we are unable to sign off Chinese nationals. CBP will not permit the extended stay.
- Shore leave is permitted, but agents will not arrange unless approval is provided by owners to arrange it.
Flight Restrictions
- Passengers entering or transiting through the USA must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 15 days (day of vaccination + 14 days) before arrival. Passenger details (e.g., name and date of birth) in the certificate must match those stated in the passport/travel document. Vaccines accepted are
- AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), CanSinoBIO (Convidecia), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm (BIBP) and Sinovac. A combination of these vaccines is accepted if administered at least 17 days apart.
