GENERAL

• Are there any restrictions on vessels whose previous port call was from COVID -19 high risk countries?
• Free pratique is granted to vessels only after Health Declaration is received before arrival, and inserted to the port electronic system and submitted for Health department's decision and surveillance.
• Are there any restrictions on crew who embarked from COVID -19 high risk countries or specific nationalities?
• Crew change permitted?
• Yes, but subject to the following conditions
• For on-signers
• Please be advised that VOA (Visa on Arrival) is no longer possible in Portugal, therefore all crew which nationalities require visa (such as Filipino, Indian, Chinese, Russian – and Ukrainian nationals not holding biometric passport), must arrive in Lisbon airport (code LIS) holding a valid Schengen visa.
• For off-signers
• Concerning departure/exit visas for seafarers disembarking from Portuguese ports, it is still possible to apply at local port immigration offices, always subject to immigration authorities.
• Crew full personal data (if possible/rather receive scanned copies of passports and seaman books), as well as, confirmed flight particulars, preferably to outside Schengen area, as the routings are subject to Immigration approval.
• Visa application must be prepared based only on confirmed flights, and submitted with at least 48 hours’...
