Free pratique is granted to vessels only after Health Declaration is received before arrival, and inserted to the port electronic system and submitted for Health department's decision and surveillance.

Please be advised that VOA (Visa on Arrival) is no longer possible in Portugal, therefore all crew which nationalities require visa (such as Filipino, Indian, Chinese, Russian – and Ukrainian nationals not holding biometric passport), must arrive in Lisbon airport (code LIS) holding a valid Schengen visa.
Concerning departure/exit visas for seafarers disembarking from Portuguese ports, it is still possible to apply at local port immigration offices, always subject to immigration authorities.
Crew full personal data (if possible/rather receive scanned copies of passports and seaman books), as well as, confirmed flight particulars, preferably to outside Schengen area, as the routings are subject to Immigration approval.
