Port Restrictions
GENERAL
- Are there any restrictions on vessels whose previous port call was from COVID -19 high risk countries?
- All ship staff who has joined vessel during the last 15 days before vessel’s ETA in port must have COVID-19 PCR test result on board otherwise the vessel will need to complete 15 days quarantine period at anchorage prior berthing at the port.
- Are there any restrictions on crew who embarked from COVID -19 high risk countries or specific nationalities?
- Crew Change permitted?
- Yes, but subject to the following conditions.
- Sign on conditions are berth
- Sign-on crew to board the vessel directly from airport and no hotel stay permitted
- All joining crew must wear appropriate face masks and must carry sanitizers as a mandatory requirement
- The following documents are required
- Copy of passport
- Seaman book
- Copy of E-ticket
- COVID-19 PCR test results, at least two working days (excluding Sat/Sun/Holidays) prior to on-signer’s departure flight from home country. Original PCR test results for on-signers must not be older than 72 hours at the time of joining the vessel and to be hand carried by the crew. Flight Restrictions
- Passengers must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated.
- This does not apply to
- nationals of Pakistan younger than 12 years;
- passengers younger than 18 years who are not nationals of Pakistan;
- passengers who departed Pakistan before 1 October 2021.
- Passengers and airline crew must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The test certificate must be in Arabic or English.
- This does not apply to
- passengers younger than 12 years;
- passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated.
