Crew change at Galle OPL requirements
No restrictions for crew change. Galle port is operational 24 X 7
Agents require minimum 7- 8 Hours transfer time for the crew from airport to seaport. It is advisable to have the crew arrived one day earlier before the vessel ETA from smooth transfers.
Regardless of all nationalities, for crew changes, we shall arrange a special visa (Bond) for seafarers holding valid seaman books. hence no need to arrange any pre-arrival visas from your side.
Fully vaccinated crew are exempted from PCR test requirement and if required by the vessel or the Airline we can arrange it accordingly upon request.

Documents need for On Signers from Vessel owner/manager as follows and need three days prior to arrival (One Zip file for each crew member including below Doc's) who have Completed 14 days after (Recommended) vaccination,

· The on-signers who arrive in the country by commercial flight at BIA- , will be directly transferred to the Hotel from the airport or to the vessel itself....

a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks before departure; or
COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 7 days and at most 6 months before departure, and a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they received a vaccine dose at least 14 days after the positive test and at least 14 days before departure; or
a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; or
a printed negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken at most 48 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
