Are there any restrictions on vessels whose previous port call was from COVID -19 high risk countries?
All vessels calling port of Beirut should submit to Harbor Master, upon their arrival, the list of the last 10 ports of call and to Quarantine center the certificate of Medical compliance together with the sanitation control exemption certificate.
Before entering the port, vessel must drop anchor and port authorities will board vessel for checking the crew health.
All vessels will be boarded upon their arrival at Beirut anchorage by the Quarantine team to ensure that all crew members are in good health before allowing vessels to enter the port.
Are there any restrictions on crew who embarked from COVID -19 high risk countries or specific nationalities?
Crew change permitted?
Yes. (PCR test is required from the on-signers as well as the from off-signers).
From 3rd of May 2021 until further notice, Lebanon government has placed a ban on passengers from India. Crew change with Indian Nationals is not permitted.
