Shuaiba (KWSAA) — Port Crew Change Guide

GENERAL

• Are there any restrictions on vessels whose previous port call was from COVID -19 high risk countries?
• Vessel owners to ensure vessel certificates/vaccination lists/SSEC are updated and renewed.
• Vessel agent must submit last 10 port clearance copies and 30 days vessel logbook to obtain Permission to enter Kuwait water.
• Below process is applicable to all ships coming to Kuwait.
• Masters are requested to provide a statement, that crew onboard are not having high temperature, sore throat, coughing or breathing difficulties.
• All vessels will follow the instructions of the port control and prepare for the boarding of the PMO (Port Medical Officer), who will come onboard at anchorage during the daytime to check and screen the crew for any of the above-mentioned symptoms and clear the vessel for berthing and other operations.
• Free pratique will be provided at anchorage before the pilot is allowed to board the vessel and before vessel is allowed to berth.
• There is also a possibility where the PMO may decide to board the vessel when she is alongside.
