GENERAL

• Are there any restrictions on vessels whose previous port call was from COVID -19 high risk countries?
• Are there any restrictions on crew who embarked from COVID -19 high risk countries or specific nationalities?
• Crew change permitted?
• Yes, but subject to the following conditions.
• For off-signers
• COVID-19 test is not required.
• They must complete the online form called “Pase de Salud” (Health Pass) 48 hours before disembarking. This form is available online at https://salud.go.cr/
• Off signers will need an insurance that must covers medical expenses of at least US$ 50,000 (Fifty thousand US dollars) and isolation and/or accommodation expenses of at least US $2,000 (two thousand US dollars). This insurance must cover all possible medical expenses in case of COVID-19 contagion. Coverage days must be at least 5 days.
• For on-signers
• COVID-19 Test is not needed to enter Costa Rica, but Airlines may have their own restrictions
• They must complete the online form called “Pase de Salud” (Health Pass) 48 hours before arrival to Costa Rica. This form is available online at https://salud.go.cr/
• On Signers will need an insurance that must cover medical expenses of at least US $ 50,000 (Fifty thousand US dollars) and isolation and/or accommodation expenses...
