GENERAL

• Are there any restrictions on vessels whose previous port call was from COVID -19 high risk countries?
• All ships or Marine units are prohibited from entering any of the Dry dock / Ship Repair / Maintenance Workshop until the vessel completes 14 days prior to the date of departure from its last foreign port. In addition, if a crew of the vessel has contacted any other person, the vessel will also be subject to quarantine period for 14 days.
• The Captain of the Ship or the Marine unit, in coordination with its agent, shall inform the competent health authorities of any symptoms of suspected ""Coronavirus-Covid19"" in order to avoid the penalties imposed in UAE in the event of a violation thereof.
• Are there any restrictions on crew who embarked from COVID -19 high risk countries or specific nationalities?
• Crew Change permitted?
• Yes, but subject to the following conditions.
• For crew that are signing-on, they will need to: 1. Obtain a seafarer entry visa (96 hours’ visa) or Visa on Arrival (*for approved nationalities. Please check again prior to travelling)
